Access and Set Up Your Zoom Account

Zoom can be used to facilitate large and small group discussions and class sessions. All UW faculty, students, and staff have access to UW Zoom pro accounts. 

The video tutorial below walks through the process of signing in to Zoom for the first time and downloading the Zoom Client for Meetings.

  1. Visit and click Download at the bottom of the page.
  2. Choose “Zoom Client for Meetings.”
  3. Once you’ve downloaded the Zoom Client for Meetings, run the download file and wait for Zoom to open.
  4. Click on the “Sign in with SSO” option in the Sign In menu.
  5. Type “washington” into the Company Domain field and click Continue.
  6. Sign in with your UW netID.
