Zoom Resources for Faculty
Zoom is a video conferencing tool that can be used to support live learning sessions, aid collaboration with colleagues, support academic business operations, and more.
The University of Washington has invested in Zoom Pro accounts for all faculty, staff, and students. This means that you can use Zoom to host online meetings of unlimited duration with up to 300 participants.
Zoom has reliable audio and video quality, and once you’re comfortable hosting a meeting, it’s easy to use. However, comfort with all technologies requires some practice! The pages listed in the right-hand menu can help familiarize you with Zoom’s features and functionalities. You can also reach out directly to edhelp@uw.edu with specific questions, and we will be happy to help as you use Zoom to support student learning!
