Video Editing: Blurring or hiding people

There are times when you need to hide people’s faces on a video (especially when you have not secured a video release form for them). We have developed a set of video demonstrations to help you accomplish this with different free tools:

1. iMovie editing: This guide will help Mac users if you have a single static subject/face.

2. PowerPoint: Use a single PowerPoint slide and add multiple pictures/images above one or more static subjects.

3. HitFilm Express: The free version of this tool is capable of blurring multiple areas of your video. These areas can be animated/moved, so it can be helpful in cases where your subject moves, or in situations where you need to apply the filter in specific segments of your video.
