Our ongoing, deep research partnerships seek to foster just educational systems and learning for students. Examples of partnerships include:

- Seattle Public Schools-UW Research-Community Practice Partnership (RCPP) — Partnering for Racial Equity: Developing codesign processes for equitable collaboration between educators and families with the African American Male Achievement initiative, the Early Literacy Collaborative brings together Black community leaders, families, students, and educators at three SPS elementary schools.
- Measures that Matter: A national-level partnership with Equal Opportunity Schools (EOS) to reimagine the role of measures and data in pursuing systemic racial equity.
- Lead for Equity: A research collaborative between Dr. Ann M. Ishimaru at the University of Washington, Dr. Terrance Green at the University of Texas Austin, Dr. Decoteau Irby at the University of Illinois Chicago, and their research team focused on equity-focused leadership in US school districts. - Research-Community Partnership with Supporting Partnerships in Education and Beyond (SPEB): Supporting SPEB’s work with qualitative data to support families and educators in educational systems change, including the emergent codesign of Aunties & Uncles in the Schools (to sponsor trusted community leaders in schools).
