To date we have discussed the definition of ASD, prevalence and causes.

  • Please develop a one-page single-spaced handout that can be used to describe ASD to parents, general education teachers, and community members.
  • If you find, or adapt, something that already exists be sure to reference the original source.
  • Please remember to focus on strengths and use person-first language.  The content should use terms that your audience can relate to and understand.
  • Be creative! You could use Word Smart Art or Templates to organize information.
