{"id":1154,"date":"2016-04-06T15:40:37","date_gmt":"2016-04-06T15:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.education.uw.edu\/t2\/?p=1154"},"modified":"2016-04-06T15:40:37","modified_gmt":"2016-04-06T15:40:37","slug":"great-response-rate-to-website-redesign-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.education.uw.edu\/technologycenter\/services\/great-response-rate-to-website-redesign-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Great Response Rate to Website Redesign Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In March, the information technology and marketing teams asked for your help in redesigning the College&#8217;s web page and we were thrilled to get an incredible response.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 88 people shared their feedback on potential designs for a new homepage, including 32 faculty (36 percent), 33 staff (37 percent), and 23 students (26 percent).<\/p>\n<p>We are now using your input to guide further development of the new College homepage with four key goals in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure our design is aligned with the UW\u2019s overall brand guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Emphasize telling the College\u2019s story (through video, images, infographics, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Focus on our core audiences, in particular prospective students and other external groups.<\/li>\n<li>Create a design that is responsive to different devices (i.e., desktops, tablets, phones) and accessible to users with disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We anticipate having a penultimate version of our new homepage ready to share in late spring, and are on track to launch the College&#8217;s redesigned website in late summer.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for participating in our redesign process!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In March, the information technology and marketing teams asked for your help in redesigning the College&#8217;s web page and we were thrilled to get an incredible response.
